Acceptable Use and Fair Play Policy
Effective date: Pending confirmation
Last updated: 12 September 2026
This Acceptable Use and Fair Play Policy (the “Policy”) protects the integrity, security and lawful use of GTO Fisher. It applies to every website, application, feature, dataset, output, account and related service available at gtofisher.com and its subdomains (the “Service”).
This Policy forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.
1. Core rule: off-table study only
GTO Fisher is an educational and analytical workspace for studying poker theory away from active play. You may use it to review completed hands, explore hypothetical situations, learn from pre-computed solver information, practise decisions and plan future study.
You must not use the Service, its output or a person operating it for you to obtain assistance while a hand, cash-game session, sit-and-go, match or tournament in which you are participating is in progress. This prohibition applies whether play is online or in person and whether money, prizes, rankings or only play money are involved.
2. Definitions
For this Policy:
- “Active Play” begins when you join, register for, sit in, observe for strategic assistance, or otherwise participate in a poker game or event and continues until you have left it and no decision in that game or event remains available to you. A break, time bank, delayed stream or temporary sit-out does not necessarily end Active Play.
- “Completed Hand” means a hand in which all betting and player decisions have ended and no participant can change an action.
- “Real-Time Assistance” or “RTA” means information, analysis, lookup, recommendation or automation obtained or used during Active Play that could influence a poker decision, including assistance supplied by software, AI, another person or a prearranged workflow.
- “Service Content” includes solver trees, ranges, matrices, frequencies, EV, equity, combinations, explanations, AI output, questions, answers, profiles, datasets, software and interfaces made available through GTO Fisher.
3. Permitted use
Subject to your plan and the Terms, you may:
- study hypothetical poker situations away from Active Play;
- review a Completed Hand in which you participated, if you may lawfully use and submit the information;
- review public, licensed or properly authorised educational examples;
- take a reasonable number of personal notes or screenshots for private study;
- use practice, assessment, profiling and recommendation features for your own education; and
- use AI features for permitted off-table study, subject to the AI Features and User Content Policy.
Do not upload another person’s private hand history, account data or communications without lawful authority. Remove or pseudonymise real names, usernames and unnecessary identifiers where practical.
4. Prohibited real-time assistance
You must not, directly or indirectly:
- open, consult, query or display the Service while making or awaiting a decision in Active Play;
- enter a live hand, stack, action, board, position or opponent detail to obtain a recommendation before the relevant game or event has ended;
- prepare automatic or manual lookups keyed to a current table, hand, screen, message or live stream;
- have another person use GTO Fisher to advise you during Active Play;
- relay Service Content through voice, chat, screen sharing, remote desktop, wearable device or another channel during Active Play;
- use a delayed feed where a decision remains available to you or another participant you are helping;
- use pre-opened charts, exports, screenshots or notes derived from GTO Fisher during Active Play where the operator or applicable rules prohibit them; or
- market, supply or operate an RTA, ghosting or live-coaching service using GTO Fisher.
A time delay, manual data entry or use on a second device does not make live assistance permissible. Operator rules may be stricter than this Policy; you must comply with the stricter rule.
5. No live-client connection or automated play
You must not connect or attempt to connect the Service or its output to:
- a poker client, table, account, lobby, game server or operator API;
- screen reading, optical character recognition, video capture or accessibility automation used to extract live game state;
- a HUD, tracker, overlay, browser extension, injected script or desktop hook used during Active Play;
- an automated hand feed, decision engine, bot, clicker, input device or action-execution system; or
- a workflow that selects, recommends, queues or executes poker actions.
You must not use GTO Fisher to develop, test, improve or operate a poker-playing bot, RTA system, collusion system or device intended to evade a poker operator’s detection.
6. Fair play and operator rules
You must not use the Service to cheat or facilitate cheating, including:
- collusion, soft play, chip dumping or sharing hidden information;
- ghosting, account takeover or playing on another person’s account;
- multi-accounting or evasion of identity, geography or eligibility restrictions;
- data mining or coordinated observation prohibited by an operator;
- targeting a specific person using unlawfully obtained private information;
- evading a self-exclusion, responsible-play limit or operator suspension; or
- concealing prohibited assistance from an operator, event organiser or other participant.
You are responsible for reviewing the rules of every poker room, tournament, league or venue you use. A feature’s availability and any descriptive reference to an operator do not mean the operator permits it.
7. Account integrity
Unless a written team or enterprise plan expressly says otherwise, an account is personal to one individual. You must not:
- share, sell, rent, lend, sublicense or transfer credentials or invitations;
- allow another person to use your account or use another person’s account;
- circumvent user, device, session, seat or concurrency limits;
- create accounts with false, stolen, disposable or misleading information;
- resell access or provide an account as part of a coaching or data service; or
- evade a suspension, termination, regional restriction or plan limit through another account, proxy or payment method.
Keep credentials confidential and promptly report unrecognised access to support@gtofisher.com.
8. Automation, scraping and bulk extraction
Except through a documented interface and written permission that expressly allows it, you must not:
- scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, mirror or index the Service;
- use scripts, macros, headless browsers, robotic process automation or similar tools to access features or collect output;
- make bulk, systematic or high-frequency queries beyond ordinary interactive use;
- download, reconstruct or compile substantial solver trees, solution files, answer banks, databases or content collections;
- bypass rate limits, export limits, access controls, paywalls or technical protection measures;
- use multiple accounts, IP addresses or devices to avoid a usage limit; or
- publish a substitute interface, proxy, cache or API for Service Content.
Public search engines may crawl public marketing pages only in accordance with our published robots instructions. Security research is governed by the Security and Vulnerability Disclosure Policy, not by an implied automation permission here.
9. No reverse engineering or model extraction
To the extent permitted by law, you must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code, non-public APIs, model weights, prompts, retrieval logic or security mechanisms;
- probe outputs systematically to reconstruct solver datasets, decision boundaries, answer keys or proprietary compilations;
- use Service Content, AI output or query-response pairs to train, fine-tune, evaluate or distil a competing model, solver, dataset or commercial product;
- remove provenance, copyright, watermark or rights-management information; or
- represent GTO Fisher content or output as your own proprietary dataset.
This restriction does not override a non-waivable right to observe, study or test software for interoperability or another purpose expressly protected by applicable law. Where law requires a request for information first, contact us before attempting the activity.
10. Intellectual property and sharing
Ordinary personal study notes and a reasonable number of private screenshots are permitted. You must not reproduce, distribute, sell, publicly post or share a substantial or systematic portion of paid content, solver output, training questions or answers.
You may not use our name, marks or visual identity to suggest endorsement, partnership or official status. Copyright and other intellectual-property complaints are handled under the Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints Policy.
11. User Content and communications
You must not submit, generate, store or transmit content that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, threatening, harassing, hateful or exploitative;
- infringes privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark or another right;
- contains sexual exploitation material or unlawfully depicts a minor;
- includes malware, destructive code, credential theft or instructions to attack a system;
- exposes another person’s password, government identifier, complete card data or other unnecessary sensitive information;
- impersonates a person or misrepresents origin, authority or affiliation;
- is spam, deceptive promotion or an unlawful solicitation; or
- is submitted to evade an operator rule, legal restriction or Service safety control.
Educational discussion of poker is allowed. This clause is not intended to prohibit good-faith criticism, lawful research or a legitimate support, privacy, security or legal report.
12. Security and service integrity
You must not:
- gain or attempt unauthorised access to an account, system, dataset or administrative function;
- scan, test or exploit a vulnerability outside the Security Policy;
- interfere with availability, burden infrastructure or conduct denial-of-service activity;
- defeat authentication, access control, bot mitigation, logging or abuse detection;
- upload malware or use the Service to deliver malicious content;
- manipulate telemetry, scores, profiles, referrals, entitlements or billing records;
- harvest user or staff information; or
- use the Service in a way that materially degrades another user’s experience.
13. Payments, location and legal compliance
You must not use stolen or unauthorised payment methods, abuse refunds or chargebacks, falsify tax or billing information, or purchase for sanctioned persons or prohibited territories.
Eligible adults in Mainland China may use the Service subject to applicable law and any specifically disclosed availability restriction. Do not falsify your location to evade a valid restriction. You must comply with applicable sanctions, export controls, anti-money-laundering laws and other laws that apply to your use.
The Service is for adults who are at least 18 years old and at least the age of majority where they live. You must not create an account for or provide access to a person who does not meet this requirement.
14. Reasonable usage and technical limits
A plan described as “unlimited” may still be subject to reasonable technical, security and fair-use controls designed to protect availability and prevent sharing, automation or extraction. We will not use an undisclosed limit to defeat the ordinary interactive use reasonably expected from the plan.
If usage is unusually high, we may temporarily rate-limit access and ask for information to determine whether the account is compromised, automated, shared or being used for an unlicensed commercial purpose. Where a legitimate use requires higher limits, contact us about an appropriate plan or written permission.
15. Monitoring and fair-play review
We may use proportionate measures to protect the Service and investigate suspected violations, including:
- authentication and session records;
- IP, device, request, rate and concurrency patterns;
- feature-use and export volumes;
- payment, refund and entitlement events;
- reports from users, rights holders, providers or authorities; and
- limited review of relevant User Content where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
We do not promise to detect every violation. We do not routinely send identifiable study history to poker operators. Before introducing any account-specific operator verification or disclosure programme, we will provide a separate, prominent privacy notice explaining the data, recipient, basis and consequences.
Our data practices and retention periods are described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Enforcement
We consider the nature, evidence, severity, frequency, intent, risk to others, prior warnings and whether an urgent response is needed. Depending on the circumstances, we may:
- provide guidance or a warning;
- remove content or disable a function;
- apply a reasonable rate limit or revoke active sessions;
- require password reset or additional verification;
- suspend an account or paid feature while investigating;
- terminate access for a material or repeated violation;
- preserve relevant records; or
- report conduct where disclosure is lawful and reasonably necessary to protect persons, systems, rights or comply with legal process.
We may act immediately for suspected RTA, botting, credential sale, fraud, attack, serious infringement, imminent harm or legal requirement. Where the issue can reasonably be cured, we normally provide notice and an opportunity to cure.
A deliberate serious violation may make a voluntary refund unavailable under the Subscription, Cancellation and Refund Policy, but enforcement does not remove a refund or consumer remedy required by law.
17. Notice and appeal
Where lawful and consistent with security and fraud prevention, an enforcement notice will identify the type of violation, action taken, duration if temporary, and how to appeal. We may withhold details that would expose another person’s data, a confidential report or a detection method.
To appeal, email support@gtofisher.com from the account email with the subject “Fair Play Appeal” within 14 days after notice, or later if a mandatory law permits. Include the decision, relevant facts and any supporting material. A person not responsible for the original decision will review the appeal where reasonably practicable. We may keep a restriction in place during review if needed to protect security or integrity.
We will communicate the result and principal reasons, subject to lawful confidentiality limits. A further complaint may be made through any mandatory consumer or regulatory process available to you.
18. Reporting suspected misuse
Report a suspected violation to support@gtofisher.com with the subject “Fair Play Report.” Provide only information you may lawfully share. Do not obtain evidence through account intrusion, impersonation, harassment or another violation.
We may not be able to disclose the outcome of another user’s case. Deliberately false, retaliatory or abusive reports may themselves violate this Policy.
19. Changes
We may update this Policy to address new features, threats, operator standards or legal requirements. A material adverse change will receive reasonable notice where required. Changes do not retroactively convert previously permitted conduct into a violation.
